Golf Instruction – How to Create Lag and Wrist Hinge – Carling Coffing
www.PowerLagPro.com – How to Create Lag in Golf Swing Power Lag and Flat Wrist Pro – The Ultimate Training Aid Carling Coffing Winner of Big Break on Golf Channel – shares her secrets, how to create lag and have a flat wrist at impact. Creating Lag in your golf swing It is important that you take some time to develop a good understanding and learn the difference between wrist hinge and wrist pronation. Wrist Hinge (Right Hand) Wrist hinge is when you move your wrist side ways. The human wrist only hinges 23 degrees. Wrist Pronation (Right Hand) : Wrist Pronation happens when you cup your wrist. The human wrist can cup 90+ degrees. The wrist cup action is absolutely necessary in order to get your club starting on a proper plane in both the back swing and down swing. At the top of the swing the right hand wrist pronation helps you get your right hand under the shaft, thus the club stays on a correct plane angle. PowerLag Pro is specifically designed to help you develop proper wrist hinge and proper pronation of the wrist. While its not necessary to have lag like Ben Hogan or Sergio Garcia, however, having sufficient lag in the golf swing is crucial to hitting solid and accurate golf shots and improving your golf swing. Increasing lag in the golf swing and getting rid of the dreaded casting motion is one of the most sought after pieces of golf instruction advice there is. How to create and practice lag? first, put on your PowerLagPro and take a 7 iron and assume a proper <b>…<b>

Fixes For Golf Swing And Putting
Sometimes a golfer will slice a golf ball, which requires a quick fix. Usually a professional will adjust his grip to strengthen the position. Hook grips are used also.
Usually when a player slices a ball, it is a clear indication that there is a problem with his golf swing. The player must identify the problem to make some corrections.
If the problem is in the pivot it will cause hook balls, but also hurt the players back in time. The prime goal for a professional golfer is to hit the ball straight and hard. The player uses his control and power combined with the correct fundamentals.
The professional golf players often watch other players at the tournaments to improve their skill. They will imitate a better player. Professional players also practice regularly to improve their golf swing. Practice enables them to stay in control of their game.
Practicing driving ranges can improve your performance on a golf course. You can practice anywhere.
Often when the player focuses on practice the practice is for about ten minutes whereas the player concentrates on what he is doing, and then spends about 60-minutes whacking balls.
If the player is not hitting a large amount of balls, he will often take some breaks between a few shots. It is important for the player to stay focused on his actions.
When the player feels frustrated or tired, often the player will take a break. Professional players practice their golf swing to improve their skills.
Golf – Beginner Basics V Putting
“Drive for show, putt for dough” is the lesson we’ve all seen and learned from watching professional golfers in every tournament and championship.
The masters of golf can drive a ball from here to eternity, but it all boils down to how many strikes of the ball it takes to put the ball in the hole. The long accurate drives don’t amount to anything if you”re unable to putt accurately.
Choosing a putter is important, but using whatever putter you have consistently is more so. I’ve had the same putter for fifteen years; I know what it feels like in my hand, I know its weight and how that plays into my putts.
Putting takes lots of practice. Typically, we drive the ball eighteen times in a game, but putt at least double that number. Doesn’t it stand that we should practice our putting at least twice as much as driving? If you can’t get to the practice green regularly, practice on your carpet at home.
Keep in mind that no ball can make it into the hole if it doesn’t have enough power behind the ball to get there. Take the time to get down and look at the path from your ball to the hole; does it slant one way or the other? Is it uphill or downhill?
Stand with your feet spread for balance and line up the putt. Keep you hands, arms and shoulders completely still; imagine that you are a “bobble head” but you move from just below your chest. Keep your head directly over the ball. Pull your club back; keep your hands, wrists, arms and shoulders steady-the movement comes from your chest. Hit the ball, following it with your club.
Learn from each putt and remember the lesson. Practice, practice, practice!

The Callaway Golf Club
The Callaway golf club is one of the most popular and also reliable types of golf club in the market today. There are so many people (particularly retired men) that are fascinated with golf today and it is no wonder why the Callaway golf club is now in the peak of success in the world of golf clubs.
The Callaway Golf club is headed by Ely Callaway. He bought half of Hickory Stick USA and renamed it Callaway Hickory Stick USA. After purchasing it, he decided to hire the best people that would be an instrument in supporting his dream of Callaway golf club. He hired Richard C. Helmstetter to be the Chief Club Designer and this as others would say is the point of no return. The designs for Callaway golf club are truly revolutionary and innovative which is why the Callaway golf club is dubbed as the type of golf club that is unique and also high-performance kind golf equipment. After that, Ely Callaway renamed his company into Callaway Golf and then relocated from Cathedral City, California to a sleepy seaside town called Carlsbad, which is just north of San Diego.
One of the most innovative designs that the firm came up with was to create a stainless steel driver that had a larger and more forgiving head than any previous design. The CEO, Callaway dubbed it as “Big Bertha” which was derived from a German cannon back in WWI which was famous for its capability of shooting long distance range. This type of design was the one that made Callaway golf club a house hold name in the states because it experienced millions of sales and the Big Bertha type of Callaway golf club was the reason why Callaway became the number one manufacturer of golf clubs not only in the US but in the whole world which shows how popular golf is to the whole world.
At present, there are six classifications of the Callaway Golf club. The first classification is the drivers which are comprised of two models which are the Big Bertha Fusion FT4 and Big Bertha Titanium 454. The next classification of Callaway golf club is called the Fairway Woods. Fairway Woods have three types of clubs which are Big Bertha Fusion Fairway Woods, Big Bertha Titanium Fairway Woods, and Big Bertha Fairway Woods. The next classification of the Callaway golf club is a hybrid which is designed for long and distant shots. The model for this type of Callaway golf club is called Big Bertha Heavenwood Hybrids. The next classification is called irons which are divided into five types of models and these are Big Bertha, Big Bertha Fusion, X-Tour, X-18, and X-18 Pro. Another classification of the Callaway golf club would be the wedges and the model here is called Forged+ Wedges. The last classification for Callaway golf club is called the Putters. The Putters have two models in its classification which are Callaway golf I-Trax Putter and tour Blue.
The classification and models of Callaway Gold Club mentioned above are the ones that the firm manufactures. All of these models were made in the lieu with science, research, and practice. All of these models are worth a try and who knows? You might be the next Tiger Woods in the world of golf.

Golf Tips
People are always on the lookout for tips to make their golf game better. Golf isn’t an easy sport to master. Those of us who love the game know that the more information you have regarding the swing, course management, putting, etc. the more chance you have of playing better. That’s why we will take golf tips from almost anyone who’s willing to offer.
So what kind of golf tips can we offer up in this article? Space is limited, so we”ll try to focus only on those tips that are most asked for. First, if you have a bad temper, you probably shouldn’t take up golf. We”re just kidding, really. Actually, golf can be good for your mental state. You may find that you can take out your frustration on the golf course in productive ways and perhaps you can gain better control of that temper!
Since most people have trouble with their setup, our first set of golf tips will deal with the setup.
* Position your body so your body is parallel with the target line * Your feet should be shoulder width apart * With short irons, put the ball in the center of your stance * Middle irons should have the ball placed one ball toward the target side from center * For long irons and fairway woods, place the ball two ball lengths toward the target from center * The ball should be three ball lengths toward the target from center * Balance your weight on the balls of your feet * Bend your knees slightly and keep your spine straight * Move your body from the hips and make it a smooth, fluent motion
Keep your eye on the ball until well after you complete your follow-through swing. If you don’t do this, you will have a tendency to stand up on the ball which will cause you to top the ball. Do this with all shots. Look at the back of the ball and don’t take your eyes off of it until it’s natural to look and see where the ball has gone.
When putting, the best golf tips we can offer up are:
* Visualize the path your ball will travel so that it will go in the hole * Read the green and take into account any dips that may cause your ball to change its direction. Then you can compensate with your aim. * The putting swing is a smooth, pendulum-like action with no wrist break. You will swing with your shoulders and should always keep your head down. * Be sure you put enough speed on the ball so that you will actually make it to the hole. There’s nothing worse than coming up short on a putt. These lead to three putt disasters and can be very frustrating!
There are all sorts of golf tips out there to be found. Take any tips on your golf game that you can find and then try them out to see if they work. You can never have too many tips if you really want to make your golf game better.

Golf Training Aids
There are literally hundreds and hundreds of different golf training aids on the market these days. Golfers will spend hundreds of dollars on the latest golf gadgets in hopes for a better golf game. Do these golf training aids work the way they are advertised? Perhaps.
There are more golf swing training aids now than ever before. They are rampant and golfers chomp at the bit when a new one comes out. The only problem is are they effective at curing your swing fault. Here are a couple of golf swing training aids:
* The Medicus Golf Club is a swing trainer that is specific to many swing faults and can give you immediate feedback. It has been around for a very long time and has been endorsed by Davis Love III for many years. * Golf swing plane training aids can specifically help you get a feel for the proper swing plane for your body size. These also have stood the test of time and are used on many driving ranges as a teaching tool.
Putting is no doubt one of the most important parts of the golf game. That’s why another essential golf training aid that will benefit your golf game is some type of putting trainer. There certainly many to choose from, but pick one that specifically addresses your putting flaws.
* A putting track is a great golf training aid. This contraption helps keep your putter in a straight motion and really can improve your putting skills by giving stability to your putting stroke. * Many people have seen golf putting mats, and they can be good training aids for your putting game. These are just mats – usually made of astro turf with holes or cups at the end that simulate a putting green. The golf putting mat is a great way to work on your putting game in the cold months when you can’t get on the course!
Finally, you may want to use a golf training aid to improve your golf swing speed. There are also many of these out on the market, but keep in mind that swing speed isn’t everything. A good, effective golf stroke is smooth and calculated and doesn’t necessarily depend wholly on the speed of your stroke so much as your form and strength.
There are many, many golf training aids available to help what’s ailing in your golf game. Some of them really do help, but others prove ultimately to be a waste of money as well as time when using them. Do some research on golf training aids and choose wisely. Then, hopefully, watch your golf game improve!

Choosing The Right Clubs
As you can imagine, purchasing the wrong golf clubs can be almost as bad for a golfer as purchasing the wrong car for a race driver. Without the appropriate tools and equipment, you are not going to play well no matter how skilled you may think that you are. If you know what you are doing in terms of golf, you already have a step ahead of most others. However, learning all of the various factors that can alter your overall game based upon the clubs is very important. There are plenty of club options available and picking a good set for your needs does not mean you have to spend thousands of dollars. You can spend very little and still get a set of clubs that meets your needs perfectly.
As a beginner, you are going to need to focus on purchasing irons. These are the primary types of clubs that you will be using, and thus where you need to focus the majority of your efforts. If you are concerning yourself with numerous types and styles, you are more likely to become overwhelmed with information and much less likely to make a good decision when you do purchase your clubs. The first thing for the irons that you need to keep in mind is how they are made. For a beginner it is much better to look for a set of clubs that are cast irons. This will provide you with a much larger sweet spot on the head of the club, which will allow for a bit more error in your swing without hindering you badly.
Once you have mastered your swings and greatly improved your skills then a set of forged clubs are much better because they allow the ability to influence the trajectory much better. However, with a much smaller sweet spot on forged clubs you will find that they are highly inappropriate for beginners. Never buy forged clubs with the idea that you will be needing them in the next few weeks. If you really think you will be moving to them that quickly you can just turn around and buy the cast iron set that you have just purchased to recoup some of your money.
The next consideration is the size of the head. Typically, golf clubs have a very small head; however, this gives you a noticeably smaller sweet spot and in turn demands a much higher skill level in order to play well. If you are a beginner or intermediate level player, you should look at using a medium head club. While larger or oversized heads are available, choosing these is generally a bad idea because you will not be able to control the club as well. Overall, this will cause numerous problems in terms of being able to really improve your game.
Selecting the right set of clubs is essential in order to actually ensure that you are playing a good game. A poor set of clubs, regardless of whether they are top quality will cost you numerous strokes on the green and make you quite frustrated. Choosing the right set of clubs does not mean you need to purchase custom made clubs, but you do need to take your skill level into account to ensure you buy clubs that can actually help you improve your game and play well.

Beginners Golfing Tips
Learning to golf successfully is not something that you can really learn while playing a video game. This news is sometimes a crushing blow to those who have spent hours playing Nintendo’s Wii Sports but it is in fact the crushing reality. Learning how to play golf in real life is sometimes very complicated and will require that you pay close attention to the exact rules and form. While learning from a golf instructor is a wise idea, there are a few mistakes that many beginners tend to make. Learning how to overcome these mistakes will greatly improve your chances of playing a good game of golf and walking away from the green after a successful game.
One of the biggest problems that beginners have when learning golf is they tend to look up when they actually go to strike the ball. This is a problem because it can result in a stroke being counted even if you did not hit the ball. You can just imagine how this can quickly add up to a horrible golf score. It is important to always look down until after you have hit the ball. To ensure that you do stay down until after the hit ensure that you keep your hips properly rotated. If you have trouble with this concept talk to your instructor for some specific tips to help you. Additionally, ensuring that you keep your arms extended fully while you are swinging has been known to help many beginning golfers. Your last step should be counting to five after you strike the ball before you look up. This will help you pace yourself and help you avoid looking up too quickly.
Another common problem for beginning golfers is that many putts on the green are continuously missed. To help overcome this problem you should ensure that you are standing in the putting stance and looking straight down at the top of your ball. If you are not looking directly down, you are likely to miss the appropriate hit and your ball will veer off in an undesirable direction. Only look straight down at the ball when you actually putt and you will be looking at a much greater chance of actually hitting the ball into the hole without having to continuously putt and putt again.
Many new golfers also tend to have a problem with the ball going into the sides of the green, rather than straight ahead. While this may seem like a very complicated problem to correct, it is actually quite simple with a bit of patience. The first thing you always need to keep in mind is your stance. If you are not standing appropriately before you even swing the club, you are not going to have a successful stroke. You need to ensure that you are taking the time to carefully analyze your stance before you ever swing, if you notice that your club is not squarely touching the ball then you may need to back up a bit to ensure that you are not hitting the ball from the side of the club. This is one of the biggest things that will throw a ball to one side of the green or another. Ensuring a solid, square swing will help your ball go to the desired location with a bit of practice.
Hooking is one of the last major flaws that strikes at most beginners. This is something that can be quite difficult to correct as well. Some have a problem with their stance that causes the ball to hook, while others are gripping the club too much, causing it to hit the ball the wrong way. Regardless of your problem, taking a close look at your stance, as well as ensuring that you are not gripping the club too tightly should be quite helpful in correcting a hooked ball. Of course, once you have started making adjustments to your stance or even your grip, you need to practice a bit to improve your skills.
